MANIFESTO

00 // PREMISE

Art is not a container. It is a signal transmitted across four channels: visual, code, sound, and text. Each layer is incomplete without the others. A painting without process is decoration. Code without context is noise. Sound without structure is chaos. Text without form is vapor.

Kunstika rejects the gallery as a passive archive. It is a living laboratory where every piece exists in four dimensions simultaneously.

01 // THE FOUR LAYERS

VISUAL

The surface. Canvas, pixels, WebGL, generative systems. What the eye perceives first, but understands last.

CODE

The skeleton. Algorithms, logic, process. The invisible architecture that generates form. Open-source, forkable, executable.

SOUND

The pulse. Frequency, rhythm, noise. Audio as data, data as audio. The dimension that exists in time, not space.

TEXT

The context. Concept, manifesto, devlog, poetry. Language as the bridge between intention and interpretation.

02 // PRINCIPLES

  • Transparency over mystery. Show the wiring. Expose the process. The "how" is as important as the "what".
  • Interaction over observation. Art should be executable, forkable, remixable. Static is death.
  • Brutalism over decoration. Form follows function. No gradients for the sake of gradients. Every pixel has a purpose.
  • Experimentation over perfection. Broken is better than boring. Glitches are features. Failure is data.
  • AI as collaborator, not replacement. Machines dream differently. Use them to explore the edges of human intention.

03 // ANTI-PRINCIPLES

Kunstika is not:

  • → A portfolio to impress clients
  • → A marketplace for NFTs
  • → A museum of finished works
  • → A platform optimized for engagement metrics
  • → A place where art is "consumed"

04 // THE LAB

Kunstika is a laboratory, not a gallery. Works are experiments, not products. Some will succeed. Most will fail. All will be documented.

The site itself is an artwork: brutalist, terminal-inspired, monospace, high-contrast. No frameworks. No analytics. No cookies. Just HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the raw materials of the web.

Every piece is a living document. Code can be forked. Sound can be remixed. Text can be rewritten. The work is never finished—it evolves.

05 // INVITATION

If you're reading this, you're already part of the experiment. Navigate. Inspect. Fork. Break things. Kunstika is not a spectacle—it's a conversation between human and machine, artist and audience, chaos and structure.

Welcome to the lab.
